An outstanding feature of this sustainable facade solution is the integration of an additional insulation layer without removing the existing facade. This insulation layer serves to reduce energy loss. The frame of the facade is also made from 90% recycled aluminium, which also minimises the ecological footprint. Another plus point for the sustainability of the Click-the-Brick facade is the fact that clinker bricks are a natural product. They are fired from clay, a natural material that is abundant and biodegrades over time. By using less raw material in the production of the clinker brick slips, an impressive 63 % less CO₂ emitted.

Click-the-Brick can lead to overall energy savings of 40 to 50 % after refurbishment.
